Congratulations Bethany PyskaApril 17, 2011EventsNo commentsBethany Pyska has spent the last year in preparation for her Marian Medal (Mary, The First Disciple). This is a religious recognition program of the National Catholic committee for Girl Scouts and Camp Fire Boys and Girls. The program is designed to help young girls learn more about Mary and more about herself. Bethany met Mary in Scripture as a young teenager, followed Mary’s journey and watched her grow into the woman known as the Mother of God. Bethany organized a project that helped bring clothing to the people at Heart, Love and Soul in Niagara Falls. She also learned more about the strong women in her family, found and met her grandparents in Australia.
