Dismissal

St. Vincent de Paul Faith Formation Dismissal Policy

In our continued efforts to provide a safe environment for your children, the arrival and dismissal procedures for faith formation students have been modified in the following manner:

ARRIVAL
All students will enter the building through the main Bingo Hall doors – front or back.  Students will remain in the Hall until the bell has rung.  After such, they will proceed to class.  This will ensure that no student is left unattended in the classroom before their teacher arrives.

LATE ARRIVALS
After the students have been settled in their classrooms, all of the outside doors will be locked for the protection of the students and volunteers.  If your child is late to class, they will need to enter the building through the outside Faith Formation doors which lead directly to the office.  Someone will be on duty to let late students into the building.

EARLY DISMISSAL
If your child must be released early, please be sure that they bring a note informing us to the office before class begins.  At the designated time, please enter the building through the outside Faith Formation doors which lead directly to the office.  Someone will be on duty to let you into the building.  You must proceed to the office and sign your child out in the attendance book.  Identification must be checked before a student is released.

DISMISSAL
Parents are to park in the back lot.  There is ample parking and increased lighting in the rear of the building.  If you have young children, please be prompt.  Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten and Grade 1 will be brought to the Hall five (5) minutes before dismissal.  Parents may enter the building and call for their children at that time.  Children in grades 2 and up will be released through the back Bingo Hall doors only.   Please follow the traffic flow illustrated below to help alleviate congestion and ensure student safety.
